Our background here at evoke is wide and varied and we like keeping up to date with technology as well as other photography trends. With 30 years in the computer industry to fall back on, and continuously striving to improve, we are well suited to offering additional services alongside the printing and photography.
HP Workstations and Monitors
Working with HP New Zealand to specify workstations we would use, they decided to offer them with their own product codes. And with the advent of the new DreamColor displays being very affordable, we offered to be a sales contact who could address the photographers questions. You can see the list of models and retail pricing on this page, along with detailed specifications for each.
If you are serious about editing images with accurate colour the DreamColor displays and Laptops will not disappoint. Created for DreamWorks and used but our own Weta studios we think they have a powerful endorsement.
HP offer discounts for members of professional photography groups so if you fit that criteria ask about the discounts currently available.
Print Boxes
We send a lot of prints around the country and recently started buying these boxes in bulk.
These are not the NZIPP hard cases but the PSNZ specified ones. They take about ten 16×20 inch matted prints. We use them to deliver the IRIS awards, Q and PSNZ prints.
They are $12 each including GST (plus freight) or you can arrange to collect them from our Studio (by appointment please).
If you would like some just email us or fill in the form on the contact page. Once we receive payment we will ship them right away.
Printer Profiling
One of the major factors for our quality prints is the profiles we make. Every paper has a custom profile created for our printers using the most advanced tools we can obtain. We recently upgraded our spectrophotometer to further improve our profiles.
If you require advice on colour management for your printer or monitor drop us a line. We can make profiles for your printer for $150 + GST per paper.
Consulting
We will usually respond to most requests for information or assistance but if you are looking for more substantial support with colour management, computer infrastructure setup, or advice of business practices Sean is happy to discuss terms for consultation.
